Councillor and Mayor of Kuldīga municipal council


Mrs Inga Bērziņa is the Councillor and Mayor of Kuldīga municipal council (Latvia) since 2009. Before she has been Vice Mayor of Kuldīga town council, as well as the Adviser to the Minister on Regional Development and Local Governments.

At present Mrs Bērziņa is also the Adviser on regional issues to the Prime Minister of Latvia, as well as the Member of the European Committee of the Regions, Chairperson of the Development Board of Kurzeme Planning Region, Board Member of the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments and the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Regional Development Centres.

Mrs Inga Bērziņa holds the Master’s degree in Geography.
