Ms. Heli Leinonkoski actively works to promote culture of design and architecture as well as sustainable travel. She has many positions of trust and memberships for instance in the Alvar Aalto Foundation, in the Monetra Ltd (financial management and HR services) and in the Jyväskylä University Foundation Management Board. Security and voluntary defence training are also her targets of interest and she actively works for the Central Finland National Defence Association.
Ms. Heli Leinonkoski has graduated from the University of Jyväskylä and holds degree in Economics, has majored in National Economics, and minored in Accounting, Commercial Law and Journalism. As a further education she holds an Executive MBA from the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics.
She has work experience in administration, research, information system development, banking and financial sector. She has been Deputy Mayor of the City of Jyväskylä since 2012. As a Deputy Mayor Ms. Heli Leinonkoski is responsible for the city administration.
