Workshop on climate change mitigation and environment issues in Porto

A session where participants will be introduced to the work the Municipality of Porto is undertaking on climate change mitigation and adaptation within its long-term environmental strategy.

Three invited speakers will complement this first overview, framing Porto’s specific role on climate change emerging issues at different scales:

i) Paulo Magalhães with the project “Common Home of Humanity – the legal framework to deal with climate change” (global scale);

ii) Ana Monteiro with the Metroclima project (regional scale, metropolitan approach);

iii) Nuno Brito Jorge with the Coopérnico project (civil society role)
