Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR)

The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) is the united voice of 100,000 municipalities and regions federated through 60 national associations, in 41 countries.

About the stand:

How can we shape together a sustainable future? Drop your ideas and get a chocolate. Grab a card, take a pen and drop your ideas in CEMR box related to the summit’s top theme: how to shape a sustainable future. You'll be rewarded with a sweet gift and your ideas will be shared with all participants.

Participants will be invited to write down their ideas on a card and drop them in a box. We will share the ideas via the hashtag #citiesforum2020.

The questions we will ask participants

  • How are local governments contributing to the European Green Deal?
  • What is the main added value of the Urban Agenda and its partnerships?
  • To what extent the SDGs are relevant at the local and regional level?
